Coal petrographic blending is the use of coal petrological parameters for coking coal blending.  The Ammosov-Shapiro petrographic method represents the mass detail of the vitrinite reflectance distribution and the mass detail of all microscopic components as a mathematical function. The mass details determine the strength and composition balance of the coke made from this coal blend, and thus the coke properties. This book first solves the problem of how to transform the problem of petrography coal blending into a mathematical set problem.  Then, solves how to verify the correctness of the theory of intelligent petrographic coal blending according to the actual situation of China’s coking plant.   Based on the concept of fuzzy sets, data processing and calculation methods, the theory of intelligent coal blending in coal petrology creatively defines two sets and their elements to solve the problem of accurately predicting coke quality, effectively managing coking coal yards, and scientifically calculating coal blending ratios.
