The present book is useful to the students of Statistics at Degree, Honours and Post-graduate levels. The book will also be useful for the students preparing for various competitive examinations. Every attempt has been made to keep the theorem or proofs as simplified form.

The book includes five chapters. The first chapter is on Beta distribution, it discusses two kinds of beta distributions viz. Beta distribution of first kind and Beta distribution of second kind. The second chapter is on Cauchy distribution. Third chapter provides the detailed explanation on Order statistics. The Fourth chapter is on Chebychev’s inequality and the last chapter is on the Central limit theorem and Weak law of large numbers.
